Botox Injections For Clenching (Bruxism)

Jaw clenching, which is also known as bruxism, is a condition that a lot of people suffer from. Herein they have facial pain caused by the excessive muscle activity that causes wear on their teeth.

While the normal treatments include splints and medication, neither are very effective. This is where Botox comes in. It can be injected into the sorest muscle to weaken the place where the most spasms are occurring.

For most people this works well because the muscle stops spasming, resulting in less pain since you will be doing less clenching.
